‘Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind and spirit.’
My Story

Completing my Teacher Training in Pilates has been a continuous transformative journey of self-discovery and healing, allowing me to become more present and attuned to my clients' needs. This evolution has been shaped by my own experiences and exploration.
My journey began with severe back pain, a condition I had endured for most of my life. As an accountant, my job involved long hours of sitting, which exacerbated my discomfort, especially after my two pregnancies. Desperate for change, I embarked on a holistic path that started with movement and meditation classes. This led me to complete a foundation course in yoga.
During this period, I also became a certified Reiki practitioner and later a Theta Healing practitioner, which deepened my self-awareness. I realized that true healing required a combination of movement and energy work, inspiring me to create Intuitive meditative movement practices that harmonise energy flow and body awareness.
Finding the right movement school was a journey in itself, but I finally discovered the Polestar Comprehensive Course. Their holistic approach, which connects mind, body, and soul, resonated with me deeply.
Through my journey I have experienced firsthand the tremendous benefits of mindful movement and awareness and I knew I wanted to share this gift with others.
Now, with over 30 years of experience, I tailor each session to the individual, blending Polestar techniques, client preferences, and my personal journey. I am passionate about sharing what I have learned and believe that each client’s progress is a shared journey towards achieving their goals.

Breath
The very first principle of Polestar Pilates is Breath.
'Movement facilitates breath and breath facilitates movement,' Brent Anderson.
It is so important to use breath as a tool not a rule.
